Online auction giant eBay to buy ecommerce fulfillment company   GSI Commerce Inc. (GSIC) for $2.4 billion.
This in an enormous milestone for eBay as they continue to diversify their investments and look to challenge other players like amazon. 

As 2011 continues I have know doubt eBay will continue to closely examine future acquisitions to expand their online  business interests.
